Pay As You Go
Pay-as-you-go, session-by-session purchasing is the most expensive way to fund meeting hours with a Gilliam Writers Group coach. Clients who pay as they go receive an email invoice from Square following each meeting with their coach. Invoices are due within 24 hours of receipt, after which they are charged to your card on file (stored securely with Square).

Foundations Rate
$120/hr
Occasionally, writing coaches on our faculty may want to build up their client list more quickly than usual. To do so, they can choose to offer our reduced Foundations Rate to incoming clients. If you sign up with one of our coaches at the Foundations Rate, you will be able to keep that rate in place going forward (even after they stop accepting new clients at the Foundations Rate).Currently, 15 members of our faculty are taking on clients at the Foundations Rate.

Standard Rate
$165/hr
The Standard Rate is exactly what it sounds like: Gilliam’s standard rate for meetings with our faculty. This rate reflects the professionalism and expertise that clients expect from our team of instructors, coaches, and editors.
pay as you go — tier 3
Plus Rate
$200/hr
The “Plus” Rate applies to in-person services or last-minute requests (those made within 24 hours of the desired appointment time). We value transparency, so you’ll never be surprised by unexpected charges at this rate. If your service qualifies for the Plus Rate, your coach will inform you in advance and confirm your approval before proceeding. This ensures flexibility and tailored support when you need it most.
